Career Administrative Assistant
We are a fast growing company located in Orange County. We currently have an opening for a full time administrative assistant. We are looking for an individual with basic computer skills, problem solving capability, detail oriented and strong communication skills. We will train a qualified person. Salary + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Answer, assist and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Research and resolve customer service and/or processing issues when required
- Maintain quality and accuracy in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, detail oriented, deadline restricted environment
- Handle a high volume of correspondence by telephone, email and fax
- Perform related clerical work such as typing, filing, sorting mail distribution
- Open and separate bills from other, put bills in order of due date and label with customer name and location
- Prepare shipping labels and order deliveries
- Process firm bills for approval/payment
- Manage/order office supplies
- Maintain project management calendar
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- High School Diploma (Associates preferred) or two or more years of office-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years’ experience in payroll and customer service with high-volume data entry or similar working environment
- Quick book experience
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Advanced facility in MS Office, data entry and office equipment (i.e. telephone, head set, PC, FAX machine)
- Analytical skills for real problem resolution
- Adaptable to shift of priorities working under deadlines
- Excellent organizational, planning, multitasking and prioritization skills
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the company to outside parties
- Valid driver’s license
